These pages cover the current private preview. Operator details and public-service policies will be finalized before launch.
01Scope of this policy
Account information, password hashes, profile settings, and uploads are stored on the Frisk server. Saved profile content and attached avatars, backgrounds, cursors, and tracks are publicly accessible at username links. Other uploaded files remain accessible only to their owner. Email confirmation is delivered through the configured email provider. Encrypted backups are stored in Dropbox separately from the server.
The preview is managed by the Frisk site owner. The legal operator’s identity and direct privacy contact details must be confirmed before a public service launches.
02Information you enter
Claim box. Your chosen username is passed to the sign-up page in the URL so it can fill the username field. It can therefore appear in your browser history and in requests received by the hosting platform. The claim box itself does not reserve a username.
Login and sign-up. When account registration is enabled, your email address and password are sent over HTTPS to Frisk authentication to create or authenticate your account. Your requested username is also sent as account metadata. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never as plaintext. The password field is cleared after a successful submission. Confirmation emails are delivered through the email provider configured in Frisk’s server.
Homepage dashboard preview. When you’re signed in, this read-only preview loads your own saved profile and private media from Frisk’s server. Other visitors do not receive your account’s profile. Signed-out visitors see a Frisk sample. The homepage preview does not save edits.
Customize dashboard. Your display name, bio, visual preferences and media paths are saved in your Frisk profile. Avatar and background files are uploaded to private storage on the Frisk server and served through authenticated requests. Access is restricted to your signed-in account. Removing an avatar or background disconnects it from your profile; uploaded files remain until removed by the operator.
03Hosting and external requests
This website runs on the operator’s VPS. Opening the site sends technical information needed to deliver pages to the server, such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser request headers. Cloudflare Turnstile processes security checks; email verification uses the configured mail provider. Optional social lookups contact the relevant providers.

Encrypted backups are stored in Dropbox. External fonts may be delivered by Google Fonts. See Dropbox’s Privacy Policy and Google Fonts privacy information.
04Cookies and analytics
Frisk uses an HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. A short-lived verification marker and pending confirmation email may be stored in your browser’s session storage. Logging out invalidates your current session on the server.
Your browser may separately retain cache, history and autofill data.
05Retention and sharing
Landing page demo edits exist in the page’s memory and are discarded when the page is reloaded or closed. Information in your browser history or autofill can remain until you remove it using your browser’s controls.

Before analytics or additional services are enabled, this policy will be updated to explain the data, purposes, applicable legal grounds, recipients, and retention periods involved.
06Your choices and questions
You can avoid entering personal information in the demonstration forms, clear relevant browser history and saved form data, and use your browser’s privacy controls.
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain copies of personal data, or object to its processing. You may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.
For questions about this private preview, contact the site owner who shared it with you. For information processed by a hosting or font provider, use that provider’s privacy contact options. Frisk’s direct privacy contact details will be published before public launch.
